Service our country for the second deployment, my son's unit was at Ft Lewis mobilizing before going to Afghanistan. He was given a 3 day furlough before leaving the states. As my son is only 22, neither he or his girlfriend could rent a car. When they called they were told they could through Seattle Car Rental at 16256 Military Road, S. #208, Seattle/Tac. WA 98188. When my Shannon got to the rental counter, she was told that she would need a $500 deposit. She/nor my son have that kind of money or available credit. Hence, my involvement, as they called from the counter and I told them to rent the car under my name/account and I faxed over my financial information. First the company took a deposit from my son's account that then shorted him for the weekend. Second, they charged my debit card almost $600 for a Fri, Sat. Sun. car rental. When trying to call them, all I get is a run around and #'s that don't work. After researching the problem, I now see there are many who are reporting the same issue with this company almost to the exact detail. This company is a scam and now there taking advantage of our young men and women who serve our country, who already don't make enough money. SOME ONE PLEASE HELP TO PUT THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS AND GET OUR MONEY BACK.
