My wife and I purchased a marble dining room table set from Furniture Mecca on 69th st in Upper Darby PA. the table was delivered the following day as requested. when the table was installed the workers & my wife discovered a crack in the marble. once installed the installers would not dismantle and return the table to the store. after going to the store the following day and talking to the salesman a gentleman named Napoleon, and expressed our displeasure of our purchase. he asured us that the situation would be rectified on Monday. on Tuesday about 1pm the store delivered a 2nd tabletop, but when opened this table had more cracks than the one we presently have.
after talking to the store again and the warehouse manager, we wouldn't be able to get a replacement until after thanksgiving. we have had correspondence with this store on 11/14, 11/15, 11/16, 11/20, 12/6, 12/7 this is coming up on 4 weeks with no resolution. on 12/7 the salesman explained to us that Ashley furniture would be handling the return of our table I was given a telephone number to a Mr. Anderson who is a district manager for Ashley furniture in this area the telephone number given is (215)625-3606 this number is constantly busy. a district manager would have an answering machine or an assistant to field calls so I believe that I'm being scammed by this company, trying to stick me with a defective product. when confronting the salesman about a refund he ignored us and walked away from us. we have tried to find the store manager, or owner..to no avail Please help us, and expose these people for their underhanded tactics in this area
