Sofa Interiors delivered some dining chairs that were not manufactured to contractually agreed-upon dimensions. Many chairs have defects in wood finishes. Delivery personnel said the defects were glue in the finish--that someone with glue on their hands had handled them in the factory. Sofa Interiors had promised 3-4 weeks delivery, but took three months to deliver the furniture. Although stain matching had been promised, they presented difficulties in matching stain. Management failed to respond to written communications about problems during that time. Sofa Interiors refused to repair leg finishes on site. They also refused to re-make wrong-size chairs at their expense. Management failed to respond to a recent certified letter on this matter. This problem has been ongoing for seven months.
