This is an old complaint about a long time problem. 4 years ago I applied for Social Security disability. Only to find after several denials and appeals, that myself and my 4 Doctors were found not credible. My illnesses are as follows, I have scoliosis with degenerative disc disease, and 2 tumors on my spine from albuterol use for my breathing. After several procedures for kidneys to find that I was born with 2 defective kidneys, that has caused chronic kidney disease. I suffer from hypertension, and take 4 blood pressures pills a day, and diverticulitis of my colon. I have had seventeen surgeries to include complete hysterectomy from cancer and pelvic inflammatory disease from staff infection, carpal tunnel in both hands, ulner nerve in left elbow, thoracic outlet under both arms, and TMJ surgery on both sides of my jaw.
My medical help has been donated by Exempla health care at St. Joe’s hospital until my Social Security hearing in February as the Federal Judge crucified my physicians over her documentation of my health records. I have never seen such injustice in my life at the Federal court house down town Denver.
Our federal court gets an 81 year old doctor that states I don’t have any problems per say and not entitled to benefits and I and my 4 Doctors were not credible in his lengthy denial..
My #1 biggest problem how dare I be a white woman with no Hispanic name and try to collect from our government.
Now grant you I ran 2 businesses and matched social security and Medicaid for over 50 employees every pay day and I owe my government.
I was receiving assistance from the state, their so called Aid to the needy disabled and food stamps, to total amount $382.00 and our state thinks I live like a queen. Unfortunately for me I sew about 1 hour a day to make the money for my car insurance, cable TV and the prescriptions that I need to survive, because real care is not available to me at the age of 53 and my health issues.
The state of Colorado reamed my rear end because I have to survive, of course they have all the answers I live like a queen they stated yesterday, because I have federal housing and my apartment happens to be about 450 square feet, and I deceived my country. I am a hard core criminal in their minds because I broke their laws and made a few bucks to not break the law, to not drive without insurance, to fill my prescriptions and to be able to put gas in my car to see my doctors that I can’t pay and plead mercy to see me each month.
I guess the moral to this story is this, I am not one of a hundred using the same green card, and I have no rights after all the taxes I paid not only for me, but my employees, and looking at charges from the State of Colorado
This story and hardship has been going on for 4 years and I understand I am one of many going through this system of my tax dollars paying for illegal immigrants.
I am asking, NO BEGGING for someone to hear my story.
