I puchased a vehicle fron South Shore Auto Sales. At the time of purchase they told me that the car was detailed and serviced. I took the car to a nechanic for a check-up and they told me that the engine and carburetor were eroding. The mechanic also informed me that the oil was not changed on the car for years. After speaking with the mechanic, I called SAS and informed them of my findings and also told them that the spare tire was missing from the vehicle.
A few days later they called my Attorney informing her that the wrong car was sold and that there was a problem with the paperwork. When my Attorney inquired about the paperwork, they claimed they needed additional money for the registration as well as they had given me the incorrect form for registration. I acquiesced to their demands and provided the additional funds and paperwork that were needed. A series of harassing calls pursued. They called agin asking for more insurance on the vehicle, I immediately called my Broker and got the additional insurance.
Since kept persisting for the spare tire they had promised to deliver, they began threatening to repossess the vehicle. A few days later they repossesed the vehicle with my personal and disability belongings in it. I have made several requests for them to return these items, howevr they have remarked that they are holding my possessions for repossession costs. To date, I have not received the funds paid for the vehicle and registration or my personal items. Each time my Attorney calls they are conveniently unavailable.
