Single Mother Of Two Coned Out Of X Mas Money - Car Repair

I took my car in to be serviced on 11/04/11. I was told that they found the problem. I stressed that I didn't have the money to waste and I was assured that once they fixed it there would no longer be an issue. So, I paid $500 in cash and $260.70 on my mastercard. Then on 11/23/11 the same issue with my car came back. I took it back to the same shop. I was told that they couldn't find the problem, but whatever it was they would split the cost and keep the car for the day. I then received a call 11/26/11 saying that they couldn't figure out the problem and would have to wait for there shop owner to look at it but it wouldn't be until 11/30/11. I was then told my car would be fixed free of charge and ready by 11/30/11. I called on 11/30/11 to check on the status of my car and was told it was a new solution to the same problem and that I would have to pay over $1000. Which was not the agreement that was made on 11/26/11. Now I have no money to give my children the xmas they deserve.
