Add us to the list of scammed consumers who purchased Simonize Fixit based on the bogus TV ad. It was the usual now available for "19.95" plus "buy one get one free". Even if one was not actually free that is still only $40.00. And the vacuum was free if you purchased two. Our bill was for $84.99 - Shipping and handling was $32.85, Tax on $40 would have been $2.40 which leaves $9.74 unaccounted for.
What happened to the BOGO? Everything came in one box. Where do they get off charging $32.85 for shipping?
Unfortunately, I found this site after the purchase. There is no way to contact the company on their website. No supervisor is available to talk to about your complaint.
This company should be shut down. They are guilty of false advertising and deliberately scamming the consumer.
