Hi I just purchased a house in petaluma 69 eastside circle what an exiting time it was. A short sale I was so happy I got a pretty good deal on it that I could afford by my self. This is my first home that I puchased by my self the deal closed on December 23rd so instead of throwing the family out in the street during the holidays even though they new this was happening it was for sale for some time. I felt bad for this family so I decided to rent it back to them until January 27th just over a month. My son and I took the day off work to get our new house going on January 28th come to my surprise the family tells my agent there not leaving and told my agent to call there lawyer they have rights!This is a day after there agent promised my agent that they would be out on January 27th. So now my son and I can't even get in our new home!! Without that family geting more rights on there side. So now I have given them another week to get out and they tell me there not leaving. So I just bought a house I can't live in and I'm still paying my new mortgage for someone else to live there for free how messed up is that? I feel like burning the house down the American dream just got smashed. Now I had to retain a lawyer for 1200 dollars so I spent all my savings to buy a house and now I will be scrapping to pay the mortgage for the next month because I have to pay a lawyer to kick the squaters out. The realstate company that repersents the family and signed the rental agreement feels they are not responsible to pay for my lawer and rent that should be paid buy this family in my house so I will pay one month of mortgage without even living in my new home hopefully they won't destroy my home as I won't have the money to fix it!! When do peoples rights go to far?? What about my rights. Im lucky that I have family and a great girlfriend that are helping me out with storage and a place to stay otherwise I would be on the street or scrambling to find a place for my son and I to live. Who should pay for my bills me my agent there agent or them thats the question. could you help me out with some ansewers on why do they have more rights then me and I bought the house .
