Service paid for but not rendered - satellite radio

In August of 2011 I called SiriusXM to see what I needed to do to continue my satellite radio service. I was told to send a check for $32.75 to continue service. I did this immediately. My check was received and cashed by SiriusXM, and cleared my bank. About 1 week after the check cleared my bank Sirius shut off my service. When I called they claimed they did not receive the check. I informed them that not only did they receive the check, but they cashed the check and it cleared my bank. SiriusXM asked me to fax them a copy of the cancelled check which I did. I waited and never heard from SiriusXM. I called Sirius again and Sirius still claimed they did not receive the check. I explained that I faxed them a copy of the cancelled check. Sirius said they would check into the matter and call me back in 24 hours. Again I received no call back. Finally on Sept. 21, 2011 SiriusXM mailed me a letter stating they had received my check. They claimed I had not put my account number on the check and asked me to supply that to them. Now they had my name, address and all information from their computer, but did not have my account number. I would think my account number would be with all my other information on their computers. In the letter Sirius stated they would apply the payment to my account in 2 to 3 business days. To date my services has never been turned back on or have I received a refund for my payment. I have been calling Sirius since August asking for a refund of the $32.75 and asked them verbally and in writing to cancel my service and send me a refund. Finally the end of October I was promised a refund check of $32.75 and given a refund ID number of 23391428662. I was told I would receive the check in 3 to 4 weeks. I did not receive a refund check. I called again and was told it would be here any day that it was issued on November 3, 2011. After Thanksgiving I called again and was told they would reissue me a check and I would not have to wait 3 to 4 weeks as I had already waited long enough that they would put a rush on it and I would have it in 1 week. Over all this time I was promised many time to receive a call back from them in 24 four hour, and I have never received a call from them. After the week passed and still no check I called again and I gave them my routing number and checking account number and SiriusXM promised they would credit my account within 24 hours. Sirius told me to check my account the next day which I did and still no refund. Finally I found another number for the corporate office and called that number on Thursday Dec. 8,2011 I spoke with Lee who promised to call me first thing Monday morning and would get this matter taken care of. She gave me a number that she said would take me to her if I needed to speak to her. When I did not get a call this morning I called the number she gave me with the option number and I got another person. He said he would give her the message and have her call me as soon as she got off the phone. That was over 1 hour ago and still no return call. I paid for service and did not receive the service and SiriusXM has kept my money. All I want is my refund of $32.75. SiriusXM admits they have the payment and yet I haven't gotten service and at this point do not want to deal with SiriusXM, but would appreciate my refund. I am retired and on a fixed income. I cannot afford to pay for services not rendered. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
