Sequence Hair Complaint

No Hair! - 1 Hair Unit

- 106 GRAND AVE.ENGLEWOOD N.J.07631
April 2006 I went for a consultation at Seqwuence hair in Englewood NJ to inquire about a hair piece unit. Consultation was done by one of their professionals who insured me that this piece would be so natural and would last with care for approx. 1-2yrs. A deposit of 1,875.00 was paid and an appointment was made for June &,2006, in which the product would be delivered and the balance of 1,875. was paid.

when the hair product was delivered I had to make four trips for ongoing adjustments of hair product which was not quality hair. First time the holes were too big in the net, therefore not allowing my hair to stay thru the nets. second visit the hair unit was supposedly adjusted- holes were to small to bring my hair thru the net which caused my hair to dread and loc. I loss my hair because of the locking and my hair had to be cut. They had to re-measure, re-order, which took anywhere from 6-9wks. In the interim I was still going to the hairdresser to get my hair done, I was inconvenienced making tips back and forth from N.Y to N.J.paying tolls, wasting gas and my valuable time(I'm a business owner) and I was was very disappointed in the non-delivery of this product.

I have contacted lawyers who have written letters of concern, they have willingly ignored their letters. Please help me.... PATCH AND BOTCHED BY PROFESSIONAL HAIR ROBBERS

Hello,
I have some comments about Sequence also. I know Sequence and their services pretty well. I actually work at Sequence. I have read some of the negative comments made about Sequence and strongly disagree with these comments, also I have a resolution I want to recommend, but first here are my comments to any negative statements about Sequence:

Anyone that has every had any dissatisfaction, what so every, with any of the services or the Sequencing® process, Sequence is more than willing to resolve any dissatisfactions that anyone might had come across. I have witness this myself.

Matter of fact, anyone who has experience any dissatisfaction with the Sequencing® process I am strongly recommending you to contact Sequence to let the company know what they didn’t like. Sequence is more than willing to adjust or do what’s needed to turn around ANY dissatisfaction. I have spoken many happy clients and also some unhappy clients that are now happy and steady clients.

So I am personally inviting anyone who has posted any dissatisfaction, what so ever,
to contact Sequence and explain what you were dissatisfied with.
I am quite confident that Sequence will make what ever adjustments needed to turn around any particular situation so you will be happy as you had expected.
I am quite confident of this!

On the other hand, if any client doesn’t give Sequence the opportunity to fix or adjust any dissatisfaction and chooses to say negative comments instead, without giving Sequence a chance to make them happy, this disallows and causes a sort of unfairness since Sequence is so willing to go the extra mile to make any client happy.

One more point, Sequence had experience some negative comments that were made by allies names that turned out to be, in fact, competitors in the industry.

So with all do respect, Sequence, and I agree, have to assume when a negative comment is made without giving Sequence the opportunity to fix or adjust the client’s hair process that the person who has made the negative comment either is a competitor bashing Sequence with hope to bring them more business, OR an actual real past Sequence client that is not willing to rectify their situation and rather write negative comments INSTEAD of contacting Sequence to fix the issue and therefore really understand how the Sequencing® process can in fact make them more happier than any other hair process or system.

I would encourage anyone to contact Sequence and ask how your experience with Sequence can be rectified to become a happy client.

Hello, I feel your pain as Sequence hair is no good. Dino Dondiego is the owner who should not be in business. I am fighting to have him shut down. He is a liar and a crook. Please everyone beware of this company. I finally got my money back after proving proof like pictures, and doctors letters to my visa credit card company. I have already started an investigation with the NJ attorney general office and the board of cosmetology.. which both have called me to discuss this matter further. Dino is a horrible person, and I have him on tape harassing me and his stylist is the one who burnt me.. He fired one of his worker who was doing an excellent job, but let him go because he emailed me to see how I was doing.. wow - you let someone go because they are concerned about a client who just received injuries from your place of business.

Please contact me if you are one of his victim.

I am so sorry to hear another BOTCHED Sequence story.

I not surprised . I was ripped off there too years ago. My hair piece tangled worse then a weave and was never fixed. No one ever called me back and the owner never responded to any of my phone calls. I took them to court and got my money. The Judge laughed because he had handled so many law suits.

I also am a victim from this horrible company. I am also currently suing them and I am more than willing to help anyone that needs help against this company. I would also appreciate the same. If anyone wants to speak to me please email me dianalakhchakova@yahoo.com

My story is quite the same. I have lost most of my hair, and I don't know whether it will grow back. I am trying to get in touch with others who have had similar results. We need to stop this expensive scam. I paid $4,000 for a hairpiece that is really a wig with inferior hair, and it caused extreme baldness. Anyone and everyone, feel free to contact me regarding a class action suit. anatulia@prodigy.net

My cousin and I I are sueing them as well. They refused to take off my piece and I am happy I took it off myself so that I could see what really happens when they take their anchors (knots) out with a scissor. They cut your hair because they way your hair is tangled around the string their is no way they can get it off without you loosing hair. Also from their anchors (knots) my hair has been pulled from the root. The front of my head looks like i have a brush cut. The bald spot I went to fix got bigger from the anchors used. Oh a Dino was the person who did my complete and he couldnt even do a good job. This process is for people whose hair isnt coming back not for people trying to grow their hair back because his "anchors" pull your hair out. He thinks I am bluffing but I'm taking him to court.

Sequence is a total ripoff!!! This guy Dino which is the ownwer is full of crap!! He says his hair pieces take so long cause they are being made in China! 2mos mind you!! which is a fat lie!! Sequence STOLE my money!!! The owner Dino claimed he would help repair the matted hair piece they sold me after one week but never did. I am 9 months pregnant and hoped to look my best before my daughter arrives. After going back and forth numerous times only to continue to be disappointed with the quality of the hair and staff I pleaded for my money back. Sequence has been scamming people for over 20 years!

NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!!

I bought a $5000 piece from these people (holy crap, that was the first mistake). On day one it just looked like the most expensive weave ever which, needless to say, was fine. It was all downhill from there. The hair was of extremely low quality and matted like crazy. They tie the unit into your head anchoring it on a few strands of hair every couple inches. Obviously this put a great deal of stress on all these hairs and all of those places became bald spots. When I went back, the consultant agreed to replace the unit which took months. So at that point I was out five thousand dollars and had no hair. For months.

When I went back to get the new unit 'installed' surprise surprise. I was in the waiting area with 3 other people with massively matted units. One girl was even crying because she was so embarrassed to be looking like that and to have wasted so much money. When I went in the back room, the woman admitted that a very large percent of the units mat unbelievably but not too many come back because for whatever reason which I interpreted as many couldn't afford it, were tired of dealing with it, or were maxed out by the company's policy of only one replacement regardless of if it only lasted a week or not.

The consultant suggested that I get it applied with clips instead that I could put on and off myself because the real problem is that it will mat with your own hair if you do things like sleep on it, comb it, touch your head in anyway, or go outside with it on. So I did that. Within weeks it basically ripped in into several different matted pieces and the little clips things (which you can find for a quarter at Sally's) rubbed those areas raw and bald.

This is the scammiest of scams! Go get a $300 lace front wig, have it professionally attached and call it a day. There was noting remarkable about this and for the one week of wear you'll actually get with it, it still just looks like a big ole (albeit extremely expensive) wig anyway.
