July 20th, 2010 We were lured by the advertisement's flier from Quality Control Air, Inc. that their company will do 21 points services on any Air Cond. system maintenance for just $29.99. We called them for their offer.
Service men (Jacob & Matt)came to our 2 properties at 22282 & 22290 Westchester Blvd. Port Charlotte, Fl 33952 supposedly to do 21 points service maintenance as requested(Our systems were working). We ended up with a contract of 2yrs maintenance services of $250 instead of $29.99/ea. Jacob convinced us that the relay switch is malfunction so are the thermostat wire were exposed etc. $250 the contract for 2 years is a bargain. It will save us unexpected costs and avoid headaches for a long time. Should we agree they will come back and do the rest what need to be done. I told them I am 75 yrs old and does not live here. I live in Punta Gorda, FL. They assured me that I shouldn't worry a thing because this is their trade. We inked the contract and paid $250.
March 2011, just 8 months after, my tenant at 22282 called this company and told them to check on this AC unit. Jacob told my tenant the service will $250 for unfunctioning thermostat wire. Tenants called us. We aired our complaint to Quality Control Air with no avail. Can you help us? There're many senior citizens out there everyday are been scam by these con-artists. They advertise one thing but when they step in your door one way or the other they will put their hand in your pocket big time.
They messed-up the system they serviced and claim for more money. Worse they come back and stole your AC unit.
We would appreciate it should you able to get our money back.
