I'm writing to report a serious problem with Sears Home repair services. Today was the fifth time we have had a service repair technician out to repair our refrigerator. The problem started on 6/2/2010. Since then, technicians have been out, ordered parts and installed parts. Every time, unsuccessfully. Today, the technician arrived at my house and announced that he had never seen our model of refrigerator before. He did not know how to install the part that had been ordered by the previous technician. He called another technician who was down the street and that technician came over to help him install the part. They both left. I left to go buy groceries AGAIN, only to arrive home several hours later to a 75 degree refrigerator. After spending an hour on the phone trying to get another technician back here, the representative told us they could get someone here on Wednesday, 7/7/2010. She then laughed at us and evidently, changed the date to 7/14/2010 instead. I have been without a refrigerator for 1 month and do not know what to do. They are offering us a $500.00 coupon towards a new refrigerator. As you and we know, that will not pay for even a third of a new refrigerator. I don't know who gets charged every time a technician is sent out, but something is very wrong here. In addition, I've lost an entire week of my vacation time due to having to sit home waiting for technicians. Please help if there is any way you can!
