Dictionary Defines Rattan As A Climbing Palm Not Polypropylene Resin - Rattan Bath Storage Collection

- California - California
I purchased a Rattan bath storage collection online from a Sears catalog. The pictures on the net were beautiful and exactly what I had been looking for. The catalog described the product as being Rattan. I paid the $259.98 for the merchandise and $37.99 to have them shipped. When the merchandise arrived I was disappointed to say the least. The product was not Rattan at all, it was made of Polypropylene Resin. When I contacted a manager of Sears catalog to report the situation He simply said that the description of the product stated that it was made of Polypropylene Resin. I told him that I thought the Resin was a coating to protect the Rattan from moisture. The manager said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do.

I asked about the return policy and he said it would cost about $50.00 to return the 40 pound parcel. I explained that I had already spent $37.99 for a product I was disappointed with and if I spent another $50.00 I would be out a total of $87.99 for nothing. So , now I am stuck with a bill of $297.97 and plastic bath furniture that I will never use. I then told him that I would be contacting KCRA news and he promptly hung up the phone.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Its a pretty sad day when you spend $87.99 and get nothing in return.
