How long have "We The People" been getting screwed by corporations and not even KISSED !!?? Raped is really what it is folks, plain & simple.
I don't know about all of the rest of you ... BUT ! this ol' girl is tired of giving it away, I want what I paid for and thats not what I got. Please Be aware OR BEWARE !! is the term I would use.
In Sept. 2008 I purchased a HP Pavillion DV7 laptop the Entertainment model, 64 bit. Top of the line for a whopping $1499.00. Man O'man was I proud ! I took my new baby home and was looking forward to the magical world of movies, music and much much more, that only Staples could provide compliments of HP.
Much sooner than later, my magical journey turned into a slow progressive nightmare. Computer "Crashes & ERROR" became my evenings at home, with numerous phone calls & trips to the DR., AKA, "Staples" Techs for repair.
Computer Illeriate I was and still am. But after 9 to 10 months of this ... down right stupid is how I began to feel. My self esteem shot down 150% from the euphoric intellectual journey I proudly paid $1499.00 without taxes added yet ! This continued for sometime until my husband ended the dream/nightmare, when he diliberatly knocked my laptop off of the desk and cracked my built in webcam and screen. unable to see what was going on I was given time to heal from all the trauma of my computer nightmare.
As time wore on I began to miss "my computer nightmare". So I began to save to get it repaired.
I finally had saved enough money for a clinic computer call... the gentleman ask me why I was there, I replied with new found excitment " to get my HP Pavillion computer screen repaired !!". I then began to explain. He said What kind is it ? When I so proudly replied, " Its an HP Pavillion DV7 64 bit.", "nice" he says. He gets kind of quite before he ask me again "what kind of computer I had again. I repeated with the same excitment, " HP Pavillion DV7 64 bit. then he began to shake his head. and informed me that 32 bits was all that I had. NO! Your mistaking I know what my computer is and began to infrm him again. when he then interrupted and said " look Lady I know computers and this isn't a 64 bit system its only 32bits.
It all came flooding back the sleepless nites and Errors running thru my head... Well now that explains it I was installing 64 bit software and all. But then I began really thinking, how could I be so stupid as to misunderstand when I purchased my HP computer at Staples. so I collected my computer and home I went to investigate. upon inspection of my computer papers with the recpt. I was sold an HP Pavillion DV7 64 bit. WTF !!! is going on ? so my girlfriend and I decided to go computer shopping at Staples ... Now folks this is the time for you to not be aware BUT BEWARE !!! for what is to follow is not only wrong its criminal and they may be doing you !!
