Federal Loan Modification Law Center and Apply 2 Save Complaint

Scammed by a Federal Loan Modification Law Center seen on Good Morning America - Suppose to negotiate a better rate with my lender making paymentds affordable

In March of 2009 I heard of a company on Good Morning America which stated that they would help negotiate a better rate with your current lender to make your mortgage payments more affordable. They promised that if your lender did not agree you would get your fee back for their service of $995.00. Also any payments that you were behind in would supposedly be tacked on to the mortgage and you would start fresh with the new interest rate also restoring your credit. I was currently behind two months, now it has become five months. I am going through a terrible divorce of nearly a year after being married for twenty three years. I was desperate and after hearing about this "company" on a reputable news program such as GMA I thought I was safe! Wrong!!!!! I gave them my last nickle and now that is gone as well. I have heard from several people all seemingly pleasant and professional now when I have tried calling them to find out the status of my loan app. the numbers were out of service. My emails came back as undeliverable. I have reported them to the Attorney Generals Office in Massachusetts where I live. I am scared and so depressed about the situation. This company that goes by two names (supposedly two separate departments) Fedaral Loan Modification Law Center and ?Apply 2 Save lied and knowingly scammed me. I had sent them my personal financial information including my s. s.# and since have had to call all 3 credit agencies putting a fraud alert on my s. s.# Anything you can do to help retrieve my money and bring these theives would be sooooo appreciated! Thanks you for your time. Sincerely, jean Troisi
