Route 14 Motor Sales Complaint

Lemon For My Anniversay - 1998 Buick Lesabre

- PEMBROKE MA.
Subject: Route 14 Motors in Pembroke MA BIG LEMON DEALER

I bought a 1998 Buick Lesabre of Rt.14 Notors in Pembrockr MA. for 4914 dollars. It had 63,000 miles on it. The Owner Mark said that the check engine light was on because of a faulty transmission torque converter.

The car failed inspection because the check engine light was on. He said that he would have his mechanic check it out, He said that he replaced the transmission fluid. He erased the code so that the car would pass inspection and be sold it to me without ever fixing the transmission torque converter.
He the owner Mark lied to me. Less than 4000 miles later the
transmission failed. I am a retired school teacher and my wife is disabled.

The car failed while we were on our 36TH Wedding Anniversary in NH.This Lemon ruined our vacation and cost me almost two thousand dollars in repairs and rental fees. We were almost killed on route 89 in NH. Mark refuses to even pay half of the repair costs. He is a mean and deceptive man. Beware of this business run by this man. Route 14 Motors in Pembroke MA. He knew when that car failed inspection that the
transmission torque converter was faulty because he told me that was one of the codes that came up. He had his mechanic erase the codes so that the car would pass inspection without ever being repaired. The record of the failed inspection can be easily looked up in pembroke by the Registry of motor vehicles.

I saw your letter and I would be interested in having you contact me at this e-mail at jlm4921@ aol.com. Maybe if enough people get together we can file a class action suit against Rt14 motors of Pembroke. My daughter purchased a car also their and it turned out to be a lemon. We feel that he sent us to his mechanic for the inspection sticker and I feel that they did something with the check engine light codes and other codes to make this pass. The following year my daughter had to replace her transmission and this cost 1400.00 on a second hand transmission. Then the car failed inspection the following year after purchasing from mark at Rt14 motors. She had to then fix alot of codes in order to get the car to pass inspection and this cost over 1100.00 and some of these were codes that mark should have fixed.

No offense, but if you're looking for a good used car, a ten year old Buick is not the way to go.
