These people shoveled the snow off my roof on 2/5/11. They put a foot through the roof fan and left a hole in my roof but did not tell me about it. I went away for a month and came home to find a little water damage on my bedroom ceiling I then went up in the attic to find a large hole in the roof where the casing of the fan was broken the rain over that time was mostly absorbed by the attic insulation. I called them to tell them about it but they denied doing the damage and were very rude and hung up on me. I then left them a messge that I was contacting the bbb and taking them to small claims court. They called back and apologized and wanted to split the cost of the new fan that had to be installed so the hole was fixed. They threatned me that their laywer told them they did't have to pay since I payed them cash and could not prove they did the job. I reminded them they also did three of my neighbors roofs who could identify they also did mine.
Then they admitted they did the damage but had no money to pay me. They asked for some payment arrangement and I agreed two take the money over two months. I never received any money and they did not respond to my several messages or phone calls. Then on March 11th they called and told me to stop harassing them and they would pay me nothing so take them to court. They kept changing their stories and said I had not given them time to come and fix the roof. One I could not wait with a hole in my roof and two they are not qualified to install anything that requires electrical work. So I hired east hartford heating and cooling to install a new fan at a cost of $479.12. They confirmed the damage was done by someone walking on the roof and putting a foot through the fan. They also found the broken pieces on the ground which I have in my possession,
