This story is about a mother of 2 that lived in the rivershire apartments. We'll name the mother as (M) for now. Well (M) live in the Rivershire apartments since July 26th of 2007. Her lease was coming up this year in 2008. (M) decided that she was not going to renew her lease this year and in May had informed her apartment complex that she would be moving out at the end of her lease. She had also asked if she could move out 1 month early. Rivershire Apts. informed her that would not be possible unless they found someone to fill her apartment in July. In June she was contacted by Rivershire saying that they had a tenant that wanted her floor plan and she was needed to move out by the end of June. (M) right then told Rivershire that this was not enough time for her to move out. She was a working mother of 2 and said she would just rather finish her least to July 30th. Rivershire Apts. then told her that they had already promised her apt to someone else, and that she had to be out by June 30th. Afraid that she would end up being avicted; (M) took time off of work and listed all the support and help that she could find and moved all her belongings into 3 different house in the Milwaukee area. On Monday, June 30th (m) went to the Rivershire Office to turn in her keys. She was then told by Rivershire represenatives that the other tenant was waiting for a job to come through which did not. Rivershire then told (m) that they now no longer had anyone to fill her apt and that she is still responsible for July's Rent. Completely baffled by what has transpired (m) ask to speak to the property manager. She was then told that the property manager was busy and to come back later that day. (m) returned later in the day and was told to wait for 10 mins; then was told that the property manager was late for a meeting and would contact her later. On Thursday. July 3rd without any contact from the property manager (M)returned to the rivershire apts again to see if she could meet with Rivershire property manager. Promised that she would be contacted that day. (M) waited for a call that she would never receive. It it not Monday July 7th a week later that she still has not gotten any response for Rivershire nor has she receive any explaination or return of her security deposit. Please help her resolve this case and make this story be heard.
