My daughter took her tax refund and purchased a car. The car she purchased stop running a couple of days after she bought it. She has visited the dealership several times, to see what can be done about fixing the problem. She took the car to auto zone to have it checked because the check engine light came on. They found several codes that need to be addressed before the car would pass emissions. She told the dealer what the codes were and all he said was it probably will not pass emmisions. My daughter is a single mother of a seven year old who needs transportation. the dealership is ripping her off. They made an offer to give her money back minus five hundred dollars upon return of the vechicle. They are aware that the car has many problems and are refusing to help her. We do not know what to do the first payment is due and they are actually asking for the money. They have been contacted by the motor vehical dealer board. They are lying to them and my daughter. I am asking for help to stop these kind of things happening to our daughters and sons.
