Valentine Motors Co. Complaint

Ripped of Vet - Automobile Dealership

- District Heights MD
I purchased a 2006 BMW on the 14 of January and I was told it was an excellent running car in great condition.
I brought it back the next day to inquire why the service light was on and I was told it just needed to be reset and that following week I came back because the navigation was continuing to reset itself but I was told by the Dealers son he had driving the car for 2mths and never had any issues. He then asked how the car was driving and if I had any issues going up hills and my response was no. He instructed me that the navigation was probably a simple fix and to go how and research on bmwforums and see what I can come up with and give him a call the following Monday. I left but before making it to my next destination the Transmission Malfunction sign flashed across the screen. Immediately I drove the car back to the dealership but they were closed. I parked the car for the rest of the weekend and had it towed to the dealership that Monday. Once I got there I was told by the President they car was fine before he gave it to me and it was just serviced by BMW a month prior and they weren't able to service the car and I needed to take it to BMW. I was told the company would cover the diagnostic cost. I take the car to BMW and they spend the evening running a diagnostic test and they fax me a list of a little over 3,000.00 worth of maintenance issues. The major issue being a leak in the transmission. I fax it over to Valentine Motors and now the President BIJAN JAFARI is making the argument that the car had no issues before they sold it to me and that I racked up all these issues in a matter of two weeks when in fact my carfax report states that the car was driving right around 3,000miles from the time of its last service until the day I purchased the vehicle. I am under the assumption the owns son mistreated treated the car and sold it to me with the damages. The company is also not trying to stand by its 30 warranty policy and I have scheduled meeting with the President of the company and he continues to be a no-show. I believe they are trying to allow the 30 days to lapse while my car still at the BMW service center. Because I have afford to pay. I feel like the company is taking advantage of a young ARMY VET please help!!!!!
