I bought a 2000 Audi A6 in early 2009. As soon as I drove it off the lot I noticed that the car shook badly. I took it back to them the next business day and they refused to fix anything on the car. I had to have the rodars and breaks replaced that week which totaled $800.00. The following week the engine light came on and again Harry's refused to do anything about it. I took it to a mechanic and several electrical repairs were done over the next few weeks totaling $1200.00. Between February and May 2009 the car went into the mechanic at least 6 times.
A few months later the electrical system went out including the stereo, speakers, guages, and information systems. The rodars and breaks were replaced again by the end of the year. Water damage is also apparent thru out the car.
I called Harry's to come to an agreement about getting into another car that was in better mechanical shape and they said they were not willing to put me into another car but would lower the payments. When I called back that month because I did not receive the agreement in writing, they told me they would not put into writing and were excepting the lower payments but were putting the remaining balance on the end of the loan every month which was not the agreement.
Several months later, I again tried to come to some agreement with them because the car is NOT driveable and I refuse to pay almost $500.00 a month for a car that I can't drive and can't afford to continue fixing. I suggested that they come get the car and put into writing that they would not put anything on my credit report after the fact. Nothing has been reported to the credit bureaus including my payment history to this point. Again refusing to put anything in writing. I have been hung up on several times, and told that "I'll leave your f***ing credit alone!" "Tell me where the car is so I can be done with your f***ing a$$!" "I'm not giving you the f***ing pink slip!"
Primarily I have been talking to Paula known to be Harry's wife and the dealerships manager and controls the financial affairs. I have tried on numerous occasions to give them an oppertunity to make this right. I was sold a lemon and they are taking advantage of my financial situation and the reasons I had to buy a car off their lot. I am a single mother and can't afford to continue putting money into this car. Now I don't have transportation at all.

paid almost $500.00 a month
My balance according to Paula is $11,000
