I just received a call from a computer generation & pressed one to speak to a live operator. When the live operator came on, he told me they could lower my interest on my credit cards as low as 6%. He wanted to know the total amount of credit card debt & my lowest interest rate. After I gave him rough estimates of both figures, he said in order to qualify, you must have at least #3,000 in credit card debt & have over a 10% APR. He wanted me to confirm one of my credit card account numbers to get started. When I asked him what was the name of the company he was with, he replied name of company was Account Services. I asked him if I already had an account with his company, to which he replied that they were not affiliated with any bank, such as Chase or Bank of America. I told him I would like a number to call him back at or if he would be kind enough to call me back in a few moments- I wanted to check the company out... His simply replied, "No," and hung up the phone.
