I am currently going through issues with JLS Financial for the very same reasons. I did not receive a complete shipment from Quality Foods. I received about 1/3 of it and they said the rest would arrive in less than a week. 7 months later here I am...no shipment and being harassed by JLS. I argued that while I will continue to pay for the refrigerator because at least that is in my possession I would not pay for the remaining balance on the food. Which at this point is only around $500. They already got over $1500 from me. I was able to get ahold of quality foods a handful of times and they made the same empty promise...next week. Now, they seem to have disappeared off of the face of this Earth and not even their so called partner, JLS Financial can locate them. I have argued that the contract is nullified if I don't receive the food and JLS claims that it is a Quality Foods issue. They simply buy out the financing in our contract. If they buy out the contract, doesn't that mean that they buy out the entire contract? I no longer know what to do. JLS Financial's manager Lou is a bully every time I call him. He has had me in tears on the phone and when my husband calls Manager Lou refers to me a liar that clearly cannot communicate with her husband. I am tired of this buy wary of legal reprocussions. Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I just say.."ok I'll see you in court?" Will that get them to back off of the missing food thing? I think Ive shown tremendous restraint and character by continuing to pay the refrigerator on what is clearly a fraud. What if they do send me to court? Truthfully...what are my chances of winning?
