I have had 8 transmissions in a 1 year period from a specific transmission franchise. My transmission as of present has broken down on my automobile. I have contacted the head Lee Myles Transmission Branch and is still unable to resolve this matter. Under N.Y.S.'s Law, if ur automobile is fixed for the same problem 4 times or more ur automobile qualifies as a 'Lemon'. As I have stated my automobile has had 8 transmissions in it in a 1 year period. I have also brought to the attention of the head Lee Myles Branch that everytime that I took my automobile back to this same transmission place it has come back with additional problems, and of course they said they could fix the problem for additional moneys. On my original warranty sheet it has what's wrong with my transmission and what they need to do to replace it. It has nothing on it about all the problems they claim as of today. Every problem that occurs on my automobile now comes from a result of them having my automobile and not knowing what they were doing from the start and taking and switching parts around to gain more moneys over the situation. I have tried everything I can possibly with this franchise and the head office and it has gotten me nowhere. I need help in this matter because I am at a lost and they have taken a perfectly running automobile and have destroyed it to gain additional monies from me. What I did do was I took my automobile to GMC and got an entire diagnostics on what is wrong with my autombile as of today due to Prestige Transmissions. I now do not know where to turn or my next step in this matter, can someone please help me in getting this matter resolved.
