AEP Ohio Complaint

Sharon Woods neighborhood has had 6-8 power outages this past summer. Multiple calls and complaints have yielded reasons related to storm activity when there has been no storm activity. The current outage is supposed to be 12 hours when originally it was stated to be repaired in 2. AEP has faulty equipment according to my source but is unwilling to spend the money to repair at this time. They are instead willing to let a neighborhood suffer without electricity; a utility we pay for because they want to save some money. It is ridiculous to assume the electric company allows faulty equipment to remain in operation when they know it needs to be replaced. They are making the Consumer pay for their cheap business sense.
