On 4/20 S & K sealcoating came to our home to perform the work that had been agreed upon. He wrote on one of his cards what he would do. Black top repair which included cut out and fill 3 spots, fill cracks and seal driveway. During his work he experienced a lot of difficulty with the compressor he was using to spray the seal coating. It resulted in poor to little coverage of material. He discussed the problem and said he would get it fixed and return to do the job right. They did our driveway a few years ago and I had no reason to believe he was not good to his word. So he was paid and he promished to return. 2 days later I called to ask about his return and tell him the black top fill in the 3 spots had not hardened yet and wanted to know if he was coming back. I had to leave him a message, he did not answer. I called again on 4/29 again no answer, so left a similar message as the first one. He called me back and promised he would come in a couple days when rain let up. Called again on 4/30 left a message that when he comes the black top still had not set and he needed to replace it when he comes back, not just the coating. Early in the month of May he was called 3 more times and left messages, he never would answer his phone. Later in May we called and only got his answering maching, left him a message about coming to do repairs. also called his partners phone and got ahold of them and they talked. She relayed to them about the poor work and materials, they promised he would be back to redo. In June we called them again leaving a message for him and speaking personally with their partner. We told them then we would file a report, and they said not to do that for he would come. we finally talked to him and he said he would remove the blacktop and send back to the supplier for it was probably bad material. He promised then he would be back. He was told that the weather had been nice for quite a while and there was no reason he could not get back. We waited again and he never called or came back to redo the work. On August 20 we called him and his partner both and left them messages, ( they very seldom answered the phone when we call, so there was nothing we could do but leave messages) Our message to them both stated that we must receive a phone call from them and be put on their schedule for the work to be done by August 31, 2010 or we would go forward filing a complaint. We never heard from them. We would like to get our money back so we can get our drive repaired properly
