AIR TEMP DESIGN,INC Complaint

PLEASE HELP ME AND MY WIFE SHE WAS ABUSED BY A BUSINESS - CONTRACT WAS NOT HONORED

am writing you to ask for some help in a matter with a local business by the name of Air Temp Design, Inc. of Tarpon Springs this is a heating and air-condition company. In April of 2011we received a call from this company that they were offering a special to come out a do a service check on air units. I at that time, set up a time for someone to come out due to the fact my unit has a pipe that has to be drained periodically. On May 5th, 2011 someone came out his Tech# was 107. He advised us to set up a maintance contract with them so they would come and service it when it was time. We did and I have my contract that was signed that day. He specifically told us that they would call or just come out when it was time. We took this out so we did not have to worry about it getting serviced. We paid him $98.00 with check#1171. Approximately 2-3 weeks after that we had our phone number changed somy wife called them that day along with many others and gave them my new phone number. My wife spoke with a girl and she did not get her name butshe does remember she had trouble understanding due to broken English. She told her she would make the change. On Jan 26th 2012 I asked my wife if anyone had called or come out to check our unit. She did not know so she called air temp to inquire about this. They told her that they had a disconnected phone number and no one had been back since May, 2011. I was very shocked to say the least. she tried to tell 2 different girls that she had called right after our contract was signed by me and gave them our correct phone number. Basically they assumed she was a liar.
she told them she needed to speak to a manager that I no longer wanted to do business with a company like this and I requested a refund because no services was ever rendered. she was told the manager would have to call me back she said that was fine. About an hour later a man called back and stated he was the manager. I handed my wife the phone because I do not hear very well she started trying to tell him the problem but he would not let her talk. He was yelling at her telling her they were not a babysitting service. He told her she did not change my number and said she was a liar. This was so awful I have never had a professional speak to us in that manner it was so unprofessional. He was the rudest person we have ever dealt with in my life. She tried to ask him for his name and he told her he was not giving it to her. she told him or at least tried to tell him while he was yelling at her that this was poor customer service and they should not be in business. My wifetold him I wanted a refund and he said you are not getting your money back crazy lady and slammed the phone down. I can swear this is the truth as I know it sounds unbelievable. This should not be allowed. I beg if someone could help me with this matter. we do not know where to turn and with myself being sick and my wife in a bad wreck we do not have 98.00 to just give away. My contract does state that it this contract can be canceled and you will receive unused monies. Which there were never any used because they did not do anything. Please contact me as soon as possible if you can help me in this matter I realize this is only $98.00 but it is a lot to us right now. Thank you for your time.
