Please review the below emails from Pittsburgh Water and Sewage Authority.
#1 PWSA cannot tell me what my balance owed is to prevent shut-off!!!
#2 They do not even know the account number for the address!
#3 They refer me to Jordan Tax collection who claims I owe $978.00+ in delinquent sewage.
#4 I have owned the property for 26 years and have never seen this balance!
#5 I ask Jordan who to appeal balance to and they told me PWSA.
#6 I ask PWSA how to appeal balance claim and they tell me Jordan!
Round and round I go and water shut-off is immenent. I need HELP!
Neither company seems to have ANY accontability. PLEASE HELP ME!

Account number 258126 was transferred from Janet Hildebrand to Denise Chapman #297035 per the deed,
as sewage treatment is a lienable item and PWSA bills per the Allegheny County Real Estate Web Site.
When an account is transferred from an owner to tenant or tenant to owner the account number changes.
The bill is currently being sent to the owner of record at the service address, is there another address
for the bill to be sent? Termination will not occur when an account is only thirty days past due,
there are several attempts to collect debt prior to termination and you will be notified of a shut
off well in advance to make payment.

Let’s start from the beginning, the correct account number for the service address 21 Briggs Street is 257126,
not 258126 per your original email. That’s where the confusion is. You have been supplied with all the billing
information for the wrong account number/service address.
The bill is being mailed to your residence.
The termination is scheduled for 5-10-10. The zero to ninety day amount due to PWSA per the 3-22-10 bill is
$127.41. You must contact Jordan Tax Services at 412-835-5243 regarding the amount in collection that is
ninety days past due. Both PWSA and Jordan Tax Services must be paid in full by the termination date
of 5-10-10 to stop the shut.
