My Condo Association Las Palmas, has recently started a campaign to tow Residence/friends of residence vehicles to make up for monies thats owed to different Utilities. We hav parking permits, which they are saying will be null on 12/17 unless we come in & purchase new ones. There have been complaints from several individuals within my community wondering why this is happening. They state that the towing of these vehicles are for non-moving vehicles, ie wrecked, broken down for whatever reason. Which I haven't noticed since being here a yr. Also being told that people park there cars unlawfuly, meaning that they don't stay in the complex. Have no clue on how they know that a certain car doesn't belong to a person that resides there. My wifes friends car was towed on 12/15/11 had to pay $260.00 dollars to pick up this vehicle. Now this is charged to any & every person that has there car towed within this GATED community! Something has to be done. I can understand that if a car/truck/motorcycle is broken down & not movable, then tow it away! I work everyday & can't park my car in my own driveway, where I pay a lease. PLEASE HELP!!!
