I live in Oklahoma, but I purchased a 2007 Corvette from Corvettes of Dallas on March 10, 2010. As of this date, I have NOT received the title to my Corvette. I wrote a check for the purchase of this Vette and traded in my 2001 Corvette and signed the title over to them. The 2001 has since been sold. I did receive a bill of sale. When the paper tag expired, I was e-mailed a new tag and had to print it out. When that tag expired, I was mailed a Dealer's Tag. I have been lied to many, many times by the remaining partner of the dealership. I have made over 100 telephone calls to the partner and the dealership and have talked to both the partner and one of his employees. The employee has been very nice and has been able to answer some of my questions; however that employee has been limited in answering my questions because of the limited knowledge of the partner's actions. I have also contacted the Bank that holds the lien and they are also limited in answering my questions because the dealership is dealing directly with the Bank. I have also contacted the Texas DMV and have filed the necessary papers. Please help me get the title to my 2007 Corvette so I can drive it. The dealer tag expires in October and then I will not be able to legally drive my 2007 Vette.
