I sent my son to OLV school 4 years and over those 4 years because of poor grades I have ask them for help over 100 times and they refused. I even offered to pay a student to tutor him and still the school refused. I even informed the principal of the school his writing was a mess her reply was ' We don't teach handwriting here because kids have computers at home and they can learn there. She said that he may have health problems and can't learn that good. I had him tested and he is in 6th grade but was tested as having a 3rd grade education. i enrolled him at a tutor center in Fresno and in only 45 hours of tutoring he advanced from 3rd grade level to 4+ grade level and increased his reading 1 full year. I sent that report to his school with a note saying that if you teach him he will learn.4 days later they sent me a letter asking he be removed . This was because it showed the failure was on their part not ours or his and they didnt like that
