I went to the dentist in April 2010, I needed 3 teeth to be looked at, 1 front tooth needed a crown the other 2 back tooth needed to be pulled, the dentist told me I would need a partical, so if I get the partical it would cost me $800.00 and if I get a crown it would be about $1300.00, he said if I get the front tooth pulled he could put a front tooth on the partical and it would save me money, I would only have to pay $800.00 for the whole partical. I took his advice. The dentist had the partical made, I came back to get the partical fitted well it did not fit, so the dentist had another one made, I came back that partical did not fit, he seemed to be frustrated, he told me to come back the next day to see if another dentist could get it to fit, that dentist could not get it to fit, he seened to be frustrated, he told me to wear it for a week and if it do not adjust they would give me back my money.
Now it January of 2011.
The office manager called me and told me that I will only get back $669.00 because the rest have to go to the lab for lab fees and it will take up to 6 weeks before I get a check, I ask her for their corporate phone number.
I called corporate, the told me it would take that long because they have to send it to Wells Fargo (were I got the loan from for the partical) Wells Fargo would take what I still owed them which was $294.00 and send me what was left over.
Now it is Feburary 2011.
I called Wells Fargo to see if they received the refund, they told my they only received $166.00.
I called Coast Dental corporated office and know one could help me, they said they refund only 166.00 because of material and parts.
Well, now I have no partical, no refund, no front tooth and still have to pay Wells Fargo $128.00 that's still on the credit card.
I am disable and on a fix income, I don't have money to just give away.
Please let me know if you are on my side and feel that what they did is not fair. Thank you.
