On January 5th 2012 I put an order in to have direct TV installed, I was told they need a 200.00 deposit and shipping charges all totaling in the amount of 221.81, which I glady paid to have service, my install date was for January 11th between 8 and noon, when no one showed up I called customer service which in turn sent me to fraud dept. I gave them my acct. number and they said I have a balance owing from a different account and that I would not receive service nor a refund of my 221.81 until the balance of 256.00 was paid. Talk about fraud whoever heard of holding money hostage just to get more money. Talked with a supervisor and he said the would not refund me my money nor credit it to my account until I send them 256.00. I only have 517.00 income each month took ma awhile to raise the deposit, now I can't get my money back, also explained to them that I am housebound with nothing to do exceot play on a computer, when it will work, so as for my opinion talk to other companies first so you to don't get the money held hostage.
