I paid this mechanic shop to rebuild my 2000 Ford Windstar transmission because I was told that the drive gear had broken. Instead of this shop doing as we had agreed, the owner purchased a Junkyard transmission for less than $80 and put it in my vehicle. When I looked under the hood and noticed the difference in the transmission housing, I questioned the owner why was the housing different? He told me that the housing had to be changed because the one from my vehicle was warped. I told him that I knew that wasn't true unless the van had rolled down a mountain side at full speed and there was no survivors. Plus, he offered me a 30 day warranty on a rebuilt transmission. I knew then something wasn't right.
My van never operated correctly again. I knew this owner was lying but I had to wait for proof. I finally learned through an acquaintence of the owner that the transmission was a older model Ford Windstar transmission and it wasn't compatible to my 2000 Windstar. And I also learned that there was nothing wrong with my transmission. The drive band had broken--a $20 part. All the gears were intact. I was able to go and retrieve my transmission from a shop nearby but the valve body and switches were with Willie Automotive and he refused to give me my parts. Claimed that he no longer had them in his possession.
When I went to pick up my van, the owner claimed that he had lost my key and he would have me one made. He went out of his way to keep me from getting my vehicle. I had a key made for $125 which Willie Automotive was to reimburse me. That didn't happen. Went to crank the vehicle and there was nothing. The engine didn't turn over at all. The owner had vandalized my van. The gear changing cable had been broken where you couldn't put the vehicle in gear. The starter module to the van's computer had been broken. Things destroyed for no reason. I called the police and was told that this was a Civil Case and I would have to take this owner to court. I had the van towed to my home waiting to be picked up by another mechanic who did work from his home who promised to fix my van correctly.
I had taken my vehicles to this shop on a few occasions. I never thought that this owner would be so conniving. I thought this man was a born again Christian but I see that he is a antichrist spirit who lures women to his shop, gain their trust and rob them blind because this shop is notorious for charging New Parts Prices for Junkyard Pieces!!!
