I bought a sewing machine on March 28, 2011 from the above business. They said the machine was out of box to show but is a new machine. They did not have a machinein the box to sell. I got home the box had 2008 date of the box indicating the machine is 3 years old. I was unable to take back sooner due to health problems. I took machine back yesterday and the lady had me leave it for inspection. I was called and told nothing was wrong. I had reported the machine would not sew on heavy material. She sewed on jean fabric with no problem. I also said the machine was not sturdy enough to do quilting as they had said it would do. I also mentioned that the machine was 3 years old not new as they had indicated. The sales person was talking to me as if I were a child and not listening to what I said so I took machine and left. I paid 300.00 for this sewing machine and waant my money back. I also explained that I need a sturdy machine for church projects and now I have a mchine that is only usable on light weight material. Please help.
