I was selling my home, needed a company that could store my furniture until I knew where I was going to move. Thinking a moving company would know what size storage POD I would need, since this is their business. I gave them the specific size of my home and was advised that I would ONLY require a 16' container. But low and behold, at the last minute, I needed a second container costing me more financial output. This should not have happened if their customer service reps knew what they were talking about. PODS admits that I gave the proper info and that I was mislead by incorrect information of their part. So I am asking for a refund of $207 for the second POD due to incorrect handling of my move and they only want to pay half of the monthly rental fee of $66.00. Why do I or anyone else have to PAY for THEIR MISTAKE!!!
A very concerned consumer. I feel as though this was the plan from the beginning to make more money.
