I have been trying to get a modification from Wells Fargo bank since Feburary of 09. They have given me no help. I was current on my loan until June of 09 I ran out of money, I kept begging them to modify my loan, but they gave me the complete run around because no one knew what the other department was doing. Then March of 2010 they tried to foreclose, I had to get a lawyer to help. The lawyer got them to modify they told me it was a 3 month trail, I made all my payments then after three months it would become fixed. Still I was given a run around, now they kicked us out of the program because we did not have a 31% income, they waited until my husband lost his unemployment, we explain we had retirement money we would use, and they did not care. Now they are trying for a Fannie Mae loan still giving us the run around. If they would have given us a modification at anytime during the last 18 months we would not be in this situation but they keep telling us we are on a pre-foreclosure list telling us we can be foreclosed on at anytime. The mental abuse they have put us through is unbearable and I believe think they are discriminating against us. There are numerous times they've called my household at all hours of the day asking for the same papers I've faxed them over and over again, telling me they never received them, but the moment I tell them to look they find those papers. The times they told me I was in loan modification, but still had someone come to my door, and staple a foreclosure notice to my front door, when Wells Fargo told me I was in loan modification. The fact that I'm on some foreclosure list put me through the mental abuse of having people and letters coming to my door telling me what I can and can't do. Not to mention the way the people from wells Fargo treat me on the phone. One person should be handling my case, not 200 different people over the past two years. They treat me like I never paid on time, but I did for the entire time I've had this loan. I'm not some irresponsible adult, my husband lost his job. We aren't trying to screw the system; we're just trying to ask for some help. We need help and they refuse to help and Well Fargo doesn't care. I started to complain to all the federal banking departments FDIC- OTS- FCT- and the OCC finally one department sent a letter the the president of well fargo inturn he send me a letter that they would help me get a modification. For the 100th time I hard to start the process over again so I sent the paper to well fargo. During this time my house was up for auction on October 5 and they would not take it off auction unless the modification was accepted. They call me within two days tell me I was rejected again for the hemp program. I had to file for bankrupcy to stop them from auctioning my home I sent them the papers for bankruptcy, now they called me to tell me I now have gotten the modification but they have up what I owe with additional $15000.00 on my loan amount. I want to start to gather people who have been treated unfairly by the banks to have them protest against the Big banks and find a lawyer who would put a class action suite against the banks or find what federal agency would help the people against the banks. During this time I became legally blind they did not care they are trying to foreclose on me. I'm asking for someone out their to help.
