My wife and I recently atttended a presentation by the Global Discovery Travel Club; it was held in Dublin. As a result, we purchased a membership and received a "free travel package" from the Millineum Travel and Promotions agency with headquarters in Daytone Beach/Point Orange, Florida (phone is 1-386-763-5778). We completed the paperwork requested by Millenium and sent it, along with the required deposit in a cashiers check, within the required tiimeframe specified in their information. However, it was sent by first class mail rather than certified mail (an oversight on my part). We did not hear back from them as they promised so I called them yesterday, only to find out that they had received my requesst and the cashiers check, but they would not honor it since it was not sent by certified mail. I was told they had sent me a refund of the $100 on February 3rd; it has not arrived to date I am not able to understand how they can legally void my deposit since they acknowledge receiving it within the required time frame and since it was in the form of a cashier's check as required. Can you help me
