Kmart, a store that is conveint, affordable and helpful; at least that's what I thought. After applying employment at Kmart via their onlineapplication, I was quickly given a scheduled interveiw. The comfirmation stated and comfrimed the time and date of interveiw. Many companies in Miami have this conveint system that automatically allow you schdule an interveiw after applying, which is usually accurately up to date. However, to my surprise when I arrived to my interveiw I was told that the HR manager who conducts the interveiws will not be in until 3pm. The young lady at the customer service desk proceeded to give me the HRs contact information and took down mines.
Now, my first thought was isn't it the people job in the HR Department to constantly check and monitor their emlloyment datebase. Weather its scheduling knterveiws or looking over potential canidates applications, they should have access to upcoming interveiws that are schduled. Well, after trying to contact Mrs. HR Manager, I was constantly placed on longer than normal holds a total of 6 times.
