I feel conned by the Mizzou Alum Association membership drive a couple year’s back.. Having graduated years ago, I was looking for a place to donate my estate. I thought I’d get a taste of “the experts” at Mizzou in the Alumni Association. Unfortunately, despite all their Ra-Rah and talk, these folks seem more like professional party planners who ply us with alcohol in hopes of more and larger donations. Is it just me or shouldn’t there be more focus on academics and learning. These folks insult us when they assume all we care about is sports. The athletic ticket office is hard core into demanding money at every twist and turn. I don’t want more of the same out of my alumni office. I’ve had my test run, I think I’ll return to non-member status. MAA didn’t live up to their words and promises.
