booked flights for August 9 2010 to pbi. wife a I going to visit friend dying of cancer. had to cancel due to documented medical family emergency. airline agreed to not charge for new travel tickets. both wife and I thought travel date was from day of travel not booking date our mistake, tried to rebook intime to travel as of 8/9/2011 when we were told we had a year to rebook, both wife an I ON DISABILITY, and had credit of$480 credit. wepaid this and were wrong about the time to rebook by two weeks this was the soonest we could get the time needed and weretrying to rebook before end of 8 /9/2011 were rebooked for 8 2 2011 and were told we lost our credit. we are not askingfor money back we are just trying to console a friends of 50 years wife for a friend who has passed on.
we did pay for the tickets and we are hurting trying to find the money to get back down to Florida, please help I have talked an written but to no avail. thankyou
