I took my vehicle in for service on 9/11/07. The next day Lexus claimed they could find nothing wrong with our car. I complained that it was a possible defect as told by many otherS on compaint websites specifically regarding the ES 350. In any case they told me come to get the vehicle anyway. I told them because of the severity of the problem I wanted to trade it for another vehicle.
the next day I got a call from someone claiming to be a Lexus employee. He had all my personal information including what I said was wrong with my car. He told they found the problem, but needed a few days to repair it, so come in on 9/17/07. To pick it up. I went to the dealer the next on the 14th, only to discover my vehicle missing. They couldn'tfind it. After searching the premisis they toldme they gave the vehicle to some other than me, and now I have to file a police report, and file acliam with my insurance company for the loss.
Since when does a dealership, give your vehicle away and then say, you're own your own, and you are responsibile for the loss? They've got to be kidding right?
There is no legal way they can get away with this, right?
