Mazda Corporation Complaint

Mazda Engine failure due to factury defects - MazdaSpeed 6

- Philadelphia
I am the owner of a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 which I have owned for almost five years. Less then a week ago my engine failed without any prior notices or any leading reasons. After superficialy looking into the engine bay, I noticed a big hole in the engine and was obligated to tow the vehicle to the closest Mazda Dealership. Once the vehicle was inspected the tech notified me that the engine has failed without reasonable cause and advised me to contact the Mazda Headquarters. I did so and after contacting the dealership Mazda simply told me that even though no negligence or reasonable cause had caused the damaged, the company would not cover the expenses. A week prior to the incident I received a letter from Mazda explaning that certain engines had experienced performance problems, including mine and I had scheduled an appointment to get my vehicle looked at but the incindent happened in the right before my appointment. I contacted another car tech and I was told that there had been prior similar incidents with that vehicle model and after performing some research I came to the conclusion that I was not the first consumer to have been affected by Mazda. Since at this point in time I am stuck with the only alternative to pay an outrageous bill of six thousand plus dollars, I figured I would seek some help to make this issue more public. I hope this letter will raise some interest in the issue and help me make Mazda accept responsibility for their product. Please contact me for more details at 267-261-5706. Thank you.
