We bought a simmons mattress in Feb of 2009 from value city furniture we had to call them less than 6 months later due to a faulty collapsing sides of mattress. Well they replaced it with another one and I would say less than 6 months again we had to call them again to replace that one due to a part of the bed that was bulging up. Now here we are a little over 8 months and again we are having to get this replaced again. Now they are wanting to charge me a 150.00 del fee now to get the whole story straight we lived in Virginia beach for two replacements but since the navy has moved us to wallops island so value city furniture has made me call simmons representative since we are out of their service area. So on August 26 I called Value City and they set to send some one out on the 31st no one ever called me to confirm as they are suppose to so I called back on the 30th and they told me they would come out September 8th well they did to take a look at the mattress and found that it was faulty and then on the 10th when I called the store to find out what the plan was they told me that I would have to call simmons representative to get this take care of since I am out of their area now. So I did and have been dealing with Grant Sock now since the 10th of September and was told on to contact warranty office via email I did and two weeks later no response from them I called on the phone and they told me I had to go back through the store I bought it from since they came out and inspected the product I was told by value city they come to eastern shore on Wednesdays but then they told me I am out of their del area. I also faxed the info to warranty office and still have not heard back from them. Well on 17th mr. sock called simmons representative to tell me to cut the tags off the mattress and mail to him wich I did and he got them on the 22nd of September I called him to find this out and asked him what is the next step to me getting my mattress replaced. he said he had the tags and he would call the warranty department and get them to contact me for del of the mattress. Well an hour later he called me back and said I had to mail him a payment of 150 for delivery to get the mattress and he would forward the money to them to get mattress del to us. I told him I don't feel I ishould have to pay that for 3 faulty mattress and he said thats their policy and was on the warranty information we never got any warranty information with the mattress and when I bought the mattress was told there is a 10 year warranty on it so I took it as it would be replaced for any faulty problems. I asked mr sock for his bosses number he refused to give it to me and tried to tell me he could not give me her name. I told him he can give me the name of his boss laura croft was her name he said. He would not give me contact info for her. He called me back 15 minutes later and told me that I had to call warranty office to discuss this matter with them and try and get this waved that he has no control over this or his boss. So I called the warranty office they told me thay don't get involved wit hte active dealers as long as the place I bought it from was still in business which they are. I am getting the complete run around and no resolution could someone please help me on this I should not have to pay for a faulty mattress that I have had to replace 3 times pleas and my husband is in the navy and his back is really starting to hurt him
