I dropped off two pairs of jeans for them to alter. One pair got cut 4 inches too short. His daughter argued with me about the situation. I wanted a refund for the cost of my jeans, which is $200. She refused saying the jeans were used. The principle of the situation si I brought my jeans in to get altered, not messed up. I called the next day and talked to the owner, he said he would fix the jeans. The next day I went back to pick up my jeans. They were not fixed. He did not offer a refund. I explained to him it was not my fault for their mistake so why should I be punished for their mistake. He then asked what would make me happy. I said a full refund of the $200. For the next two hours he argued with me about that.
