A very strong warning to all web designers, freelance artists, advertisers, investors and to whom ever it may concern. Let it be known that Marc M. Brunet, President & CEO of mcn. TV, mcnsports. TV and mcnentertainment. TV is a rip off artist and does not pay for services rendered! Be fore warned of MCN. TV Broadband Networks (a Canadian company AKA, MCN Multicast Networks) with offices in Dover Downs, Dover Delaware. They commissioned me to rescue, repair, re-design, upgrade and fix their broken websites and databases and after fixing them all and upgrading them to the latest in security, built them custom themes and modules, search engine optimization and updated functionality they proposed the old "the check is in the mail" statement and after two weeks without receipt of payment said, and I quote... "Oh, it must have been lost in the mail. We'll send another check". After another two weeks they stopped answering my calls and emails.
I have had to hired a collection agency and am filing a civil suite in small claims court for failure to pay for services rendered and to try to recover some payment from what is the first time in my 35 years in business that I have been stiffed by a client. I don't need to mention what a hardship it is to loose $4,200.00 worth of income as well as the amount of time that I spent on their projects all the while turning down paying jobs so, I could save their business websites from ruin. I am posting this warning in the hope that no one else has to go through the pain and aggravation that my company and family has had to go through.
