Marble masters tileworks, inc. tiled our condo in
Sarasota, Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club. Our shower was tiled and we were told not to use it for three days. When we used it on the fourth day, the drain was plugged with mortar. We had a hard time getting them to come out to fix it. they did come out they could not get the mortar out. While they were tiling the shower, they did not shut or plug the drain. They could not get the mortar out and a special plumber had to be called in. He had to use special equipment to get the mortar out. The contractor told the worker to get the plumber and he would reimburse me the $300.00 we paid the plumber. He would not answer our phone calls or accept a certified letter sent to him. I am now in the process of taking him to small claims court in Sarasota. I am not sure this will give me resolution.
I paid him on time and was more than fair with his workers. It is not only the money, but the principle. He is not being honest and treating me fairly.
