I bought two magic jack phone adapters, a couple of years ago. I tried to activate one and found out my area code was not available. I recently found out my area code is now in their system.
I tried to activate one and I ended up having to use my debit card to pay for and activation fee and as it turns out, pay for another Magi Jack. After I filled out the form I decided not to have this thing after already paying for two. I did not hit the confirm buton and the next day 97.64 was taken out of my account. The add clearly states (30) day FREE TRIAL PERIOD.
I called the billing department and the woman I spoke to said they sent out another Magic Jack and I did decide against the additonal 5 year bargain fee. Around 70.00 dollars. I was only being billed for 49.95.I told her I was looking at the bank statement and they DID TAKE 97.64.She argued that I was wrong.
I should refuse the Magic Jack and they would refund me the 49.95. Again I told her I was billed 97.64 and I wanted my money back.
I don't know what to do, I want my money back and I should get the money for the first two that I was unable to use.
That was 19.95 times two.
