My husband and I recently purchased a boat from Madill Marine and Auto. The dealer there told us the boat ran at least 47mph, would pull a skier and a wakeboard, was oil injected, had a new battery, and many other lies too numerous to count. Lake Texoma has been up because of heavy rains, and we were told we could not take the boat out for a test drive. He told us we could take the boat home, put it the water, and if it did not run right he would refund our money. We trusted him and bought the boat. Upon getting it home and putting it on the water, it did none of the things he claimed it would do. I called him to let him know our dilemma, and he told me it would be a snow balls chance in hell he would refund our money. After investigating around a bit, we found the boat to be a salvaged vessel, totaled by an insurance company. He still has not produced the title, by the way. I am assuming it is because he failed to disclose the property as salvaged.
After further investigation we found many other victims of this dealership. He is a convicted felon. He has been to prison in 4 states, Oklahoma, California, Nevada, and Arizona, all for fraudulent charges. He has also been to federal prison, and has small claims judgments all over.
We have spoke to many of his victims, all who are more than willing to help take this man down. We all keep getting told to take it to small claims, but it is quite obvious this route is not working. This man with many aliases continues to take advantage of an unsuspecting public, with no one to defend them.
We all can only hope and pray we will be able to publicly stop this man from conning other trusting people.
