I recently purchased mattresses on my account at Macy's Department Store on a six-month interest free account. I mailed a payment to them and they took that payment and placed it on a revolving account that I have with them. I called and asked that that payment be removed and placed on the six-month interest free account.
They informed me that they could not do it because my revolving account balance was more than the six-month interest free account.
I would like to expose Macy's on how they have a six-month free account and I can not pay on it because of my revolving account has a balance that is more.
They involved me on what account I should make my payment to because of the interest on my revolving account.
I feel they have no right to tell me which account I should pay.
